Do all my credit agreements have to be included?

Yes, all your credit facilities will be cancelled and all your cards destroyed.

Does my spouse also have to go under review?

If you are married in COP, your husband also has to undergo Debt review

We will take your living expenses into consideration when restructuring your debt obligations.

Do I have to undergo debt counselling at a company in my province?

No, you can undergo debt counselling with any company. We don't have to see you personally.

What happens if I fail to meet my monthly obligations?

We will have to cancel our agreement with you and then your credit providers can take immediate legal action.

Will I still be able to apply for credit while under Debt Counselling?

You may not enter into credit agreements nor use any credit facilities while under debt review.

Will I be black listed?

Your credit profile will be flagged as under Debt Review and therefore you will not be able to obtain further credit until we have issued you with a clearance certificate.

That wont be a problem, as long you carry on paying your monthly obligation.
